While I was working with the automatic poster that I use to post ads to multiple groups of Facebook, I realized there were several groups that I did not want to be in. Someone else had put me in some of them and some of them did not allow posts. Therefore I wanted to leave those groups. I could see the groups on my poster but could not find them when in looked in my Groups category. Finally I figured out how to leave the groups. The first thing I had to do was go to the page that my names was on. There you can see your profile, friends, movies, music and groups. When you see groups and move your cursor to the right side of it you will see a pencil. When you hover over it it says "manage". There you click on the pencil and a drop down will appear. Click on "See all groups". Then you can go down the list. When you find one that you want to leave you click on the gear symbol to the right and check "leave the group".
