Motivation
is good for you. I consider motivation a
Joy. The Bible says Joy is your
Strength. That’s why you should never
let anyone take your Joy.
Imagine
being weak all the time. That opens the
door for depression, anger, hostility and many other maladies. So who wants to be weak? It’s like being in a vicious cycle that you
cannot come out of. How can you fight
the battle if you’re weak? You can’t. So the only thing left to do is to strengthen
up. Go get some Joy. It’s everywhere and can be taken good
advantage of. It’s being able to breathe
clean fresh air without the use of an oxygen mask or one those things you roll
around on wheels. Joy is being able to
see; able to see the colors of the world like trees and grass and butterflies
and the sky and the oceans. Have you
ever gone blind? Well I did and let me
tell you it was not pleasant. In fact,
it was downright scary. I would think
about how I was going to get around and feed myself and communicate and all
sorts of things. But thank God I found
out I had a tumor on my brain in between my eyes that was causing this
malady. I had brain surgery (sounds
terrible, right?) and it cleared up the problem. But just think, I could have gotten depressed
and cantankerous and given up totally, but I didn’t. I trusted in God to deliver me or make me a
stronger person. By the way He did both.
Just don’t
give up even if you give out. Keep your
Joy. Keep it to yourself so that you can
fight off all the negativity that surrounds us daily in our lives.
Peace be with you and Peace I give unto you.
