Drop card
marketing has been around for a long time.
It is advertising that is put on a small card that folds in half. One half looks like the front of some kind of
USC (United States Currency) and the other half appears to be the back of that
same denomination. They come in $1, $2,
$5, $10, $20, $50, $100 and $1,000,000 dollar bills. These cards are called “drop” cards or “sizzle”
cards.
The object of this marketing is to
attract attention. Most people would
agree that seeing some denomination of money on the ground or on a park bench
or on the seat at restaurant would attract that attention and probably get the
respondent to Act; maybe by picking up
the bill. When they do they realize it
is not real currency but has a message on the inside.
Your message must be strong and
inviting. Perhaps using the bill as a “discount”
when brought in or a “bonus” of some sort will get the results that you want.
These cards can be used almost
anywhere. In a restaurant, on a park
bench, on the ground in parking lots, at the grocery stores, in book stores,
inside wallets for sale, inside apartment guide books, you name it. You are only limited by your
imagination. Remember, always try to
think out of the box.
One of the best ideas I’ve heard about
this marketing strategy was given by Ray Higdon. He says to make it a team effort, more like a
game. By his results he almost
guarantees that you have signups and leads by the boatful.
If this strategy sounds good to you I’ve
provided you with a link where you can take a look at the product and order it
if you are interested. Much success to
you.
